The Old One Hundred

It's been almost a week, and nothing momentous has occurred that I can use for my 100th post. Sorry 'bout that. Just the back to school stuff. Great trip to Grand Junction, had SO much fun at my sister-in-law's pool party. My daughter's screams of triumph at putting her feet down and TOUCHING THE BOTTOM of the pool made the whole trip worthwhile.

Brought back a lot of Palisade peaches- I froze most. Made shortcake twice, with REAL whipped cream. (a little almond extract goes SO well with peaches.)

Picked up my latest book club book, The Gilead, but have not started reading it. Still looping back through the previous Potter books.

Really love my job, love the challenges, love the risks, LOVE the kids and their perspective. It is an honor to be trusted with a year of their lives.

So. One hundred posts. (confetti falls.)

You took the words out of my mouth! I think I am going to print this quote from you and put it in my planner so I can refer to it when the politics of MGHS start to get to me.
