- Friday morning.
- Heat has returned.
- 3 full days of school successfully completed.
- Leaving this afternoon for a trip to see in-laws.
- Destination probably 10 degrees warmer than here, putting us solidly in triple digit degrees.
- Summer commitments wrapping up: trees trimmed (about $800), Social Skills group finished.
- School year commitments beginning: kids registered for school, P. volunteering at his middle school registration day.
- P. and A. starting martial arts.
- A. starting guitar lessons. Here's the deal- he pays for the lessons up front. We reimburse him at $5 an hour of practice time.
- R. needs an evaluation to see if she qualifies for federal funds for developmentally disabled. They can't get anIQ score on her because her speech/language disability is so severe. So we have to pay for some private tests.
- Does this make sense to you? If her disability is so severe that she can't be tested, wouldn't that be a likely qualifier?
- Why would we have to pay for testing to find out if this agency should continue to support her financially with things like, you know, testing?
- This concludes post #99. Have a great weekend. Stay hydrated.
