Random randomosity

• Occurs to me that if Phil Collins hadn't been a pop musician right on the edge of KBCO-calibre rock, he could easily have been a Hollywood mafioso.
• OR POSSIBLY an edgy leading man, although perhaps only in remote, never-quite-trust-him roles
• Plenty to be said for local diners- I went to one this morning, where they cheerfully made me a patty melt at 10:00 AM, called my daughter by her name, and refilled her whipped cream (not her hot chocolate)
• Remarks to yourself, please, about both the hot chocolate and the whipped cream
• Where has Henry O'Neill been, and how is it that I am just attending to him?
• Do you think he sounds like John Legend?
• Do you ever put 51 cents in those grindy machines and get your penny smashed and imprinted with scenes from tourist destinations?  
• Chronic but unpredictable basement leak problem in spring time here.  Vigilance advised. 
• Good day for a movie, in fact, a movie with popcorn sounds swell.
