Cinco Seis

First of all, where did the term "meme" come from? Secondly, alert readers will know that I haven't been a big participant in these things. It's because I'm indecisive. And sentimental. What if I choose something and I hurt its feelings? Anyway, here you are, courtesy of Madame Librarian:

Five things under $10 that I cannot live without:
Well. That's laying it on a little thick, don't you think? I have a problem with ranking things in this manner. I'm afraid, like that favorite-color-guy on Monty Python's Holy Grail, that I'll choose incorrectly. And die.

Thanks for the doing the meme-- and by the way, "meme" means "same" in French. I know that because I took 8 years of French and am currently doing nothing with it, except that annoying heh-heh sound I did for you on Tuesday.

1) What's U.P? Upper Peninsula? University of Pennsylvania?
b) Some of your answers would make great blog posts someday. Who's Mr. Pitman? What did he do that influenced you? Who's Haven Kimmel? Ok, never mind, I just googled then name. I should have known it would be an author--bad me.
III) There is no #3, I just wanted to use Roman Numerals. I {heart} Roman numerals.

You have me intrigued. Calling off a wedding? Staring down your dad? I agree with CB about the blogability of some of your answers!

I'm still at the library. Thank God for the public library & it's internet connection...
