I Am Having So Much Fun

An entire, eventful week has passed!

  • My teammate had her gall bladder removed.
  • She brought us the stones as a warning.
  • I went back to DQ anyway.
  • I got to go out to a nice dinner with my husband. A DATE. He's a pretty nice guy.
  • CSAP is over, the books inventoried and returned to their security guards.
  • I got a very short haircut and A MAN complimented me on it.
  • It was not my husband.
  • Oh, well!
  • Due to some strange planetary alignment, my husband, children and I all have the same spring break this year.
  • We ate at Gertrude's in Old Colorado City! This is Einstein's Relative's relative's restaurant. Wow. I had the Vietnamese filet salad and bread pudding. Then I had to be carried out to my car.
  • We took a trip to an airplane museum and an art center. IT WAS SO COOL.

Andy sat in the gunner's seat in a B-29

The Sangre de Cristo Art Center on the first weekend of spring.

More fun and outings to come this week. I hope to go to the Denver Art Museum, shop some funky shops, see my sis, crop with Madame Librarian, and write the next great novel. Peter has planned a trip to Mount Princeton Hot Springs, and from there on to see the in-laws.

I hope all of you have a great spring. mom (Rose wanted to type, and she is pretty proud that she got my "name" right.) Cheers!

It sounds like a wonderful vacation so far. Lots of family time. I'm glad you had a good meal. I've had to roll out of there many times.
