Zipping

On 12/7/06, I hosted the book club here. We read A Girl Named Zippy WHICH I LOVE.

Plan book club: roast pork, squash/spinach thing, empanadas, bleu grapes, chocolate cinnamon tart thing? (Dessert was actually marmalade-filled pound cake with bitter chocolate and orange glaze.)

We wrapped presents for the Giving Tree at King Soopers. All in all, we (and I, for my Christmas present, and in the names of Ken and Nancy, and the Martins) donated to 11 people. I pulled 6 ornaments: 3 little girls who wanted dolls, two 12 year old girls who wanted jeans and clothes, and an 8 year old boy who wanted jeans. Book club brought 3-4 more presents. I also gave to the Jazzercise adopted family.
