The teen at his best.
Sammy: I'm not leaving you alone until you put me on Andy's team.
Hot chocolate before the big game.
Pat: I'm not playing pitcher for nothing.
Please note birdfeeders in the infield. Note also the ponderosas in the outfield.
Aidan: Pat! I'm gonna smite you. Laurie: Who says smite? The son of Aidan, that's who.
Neil: I'm just scared of slipping on these bases.
This is why Laurie devised the "fair" teams of Everybody Else vs. Sammy.
Chris: Mo! Little bit lefter!
Chris: (pant, pant)
Kate:(on deck, and passing off her BEER) Sammy. Hold this.
Neil (quietly, to himself): I hate that game.
Of course the ball got stuck in a tree. Ponderosa: one. Andy: zero. Someone else did valiantly chuck a birdfeeder up after it. Ponderosa: two.
Patrick (bowling a rock into tree): Let me show you how it's done.
Kate: It's just a flesh wound.
Laura: The frisbee is in the tree?
|
Laurie loves Kate.

I LOVE the subtitles! What a great day!
Wow - did this athletic event take place in your back yard. Looks hugs, like a park! Looks like all had a lot of fun and were good sports.
It's been awhile since I've checked into your blog. Whenever I do, I am so thrilled to know how you are, what's going on in your life, how your family is doing, etc. I'm compelled to comment on your absolutely fantastic artwork! I've been a beader for years and have just started dabbling in mixed media/image transfer but on a much smaller scale. Awesome stuff Suki. Take care. Briana
