What you can look at while you wait in line for forty-five minutes at the Empire State Building

There's still more above you when you get to the observation deck

What you can look down if you take the stairs

The one time I was a little unnerved- a short street behind Canal Street- graffiti, trash, idlers.  But look at the attractive couple. 

I went to Canal Street to go to this New York City artists' mecca

The department I wanted was on the fifth floor.

It was quite a climb

And I met this guy, who doodles on the counter when he has no customers
