and how to retrieve?
I would love to report on the situation at Rose's school but we have taken steps that very serious indeed, and I can't be either flippant or pathetic about it. I will gladly, however, send you info if you ask for it in the comments.
And, GREAT NEWS!!! I heard a flicker drumming on our downspout today. For many homeowners, indeed most, this means that they have to cuss and inspect the gutters and throw gravel. For me, it means spring is well and truly on its way, and the birdies are looking for romance like I am.
We are deep into standardized testing, which I've written about before (CSAP). Those who know me personally know that I can have unpredictable mood swings. I am prone to the same giddiness that my students exhibit after hours of silent seat time. We are trying hard to use the bits and pieces of time not absorbed by the grueling test schedule, but the fact is that I'm a bit manic in spite of serious lesson plans. The kids and I are having a ball.
I am contemplating all kinds of out-of-character moves that are alarming to the status quo, but probably saving me: unload the minivan! buy a classic car! take artist retreats every quarter! liposuction! (ha ha ha. I throw that in every few posts because it's such a funny word. Almost as funny as... rhinoplasty.) hire a professional organizer! (that one really could happen, and would be worth it) get someone's ass fired!
Curious?

Yes! I'm curious. Let me know what's going on.
Spring is in the air here as well, I've been hearing robins and cardinals and undertaking strange outdoor tasks.
