So we went out for a great lunch yesterday and then went and took in the art gallery. Rose lasts as well as any of us when we go to galleries, and she seemed pleased, but only in a passing way, to let us take her picture next to her painting.
BUT, when we were leaving, she said that she wanted to go home right away and make a new "project," as she calls it, and when we were saying thank yous before dinner, she said that she was thankful she was in an art show, oh, and she was thankful that Mommy's in the art show also.
And you know what? She DID make a new project yesterday- with a whole bunch of stuff I had vague plans for. And I was just so happy with the momentum that I told her she can use whatever she wants of my stash.
I sure love that little girl.
