It is way, way better than Thanksgiving dinner. So good that, upon the first bite, I muttered, "Oh my God," alone in the kitchen: cheap, soft sandwich bread, hunks of cold turkey, a smear of mayonnaise, some cranberry sauce and liberal measures of salt and pepper.

The leftovers, the sandwiches, the picking at the leftovers, that is actually my favorite part also. Happy Thanksgiving weekend to you and yours.
I hope you had a Happy Thanksgiving. We were out of town all weekend--NO LEFTOVERS. Gah! But we had a great time.
