You know what amazes me?
It amazes me that my brain can DUMP the work mode during vacations. Even after shorter breaks like Christmas vacations, I have to review my class list so that I can be sure to get the kids' names right.
So it's surprising, and a little annoying, that after just a couple of work-related phone calls before I even went back, my brain can do the reverse. I actually think my heart-rate elevated last Friday, after talking to my teammate.
I've been back officially for three days, but also went in on Mon. and Tues. No kids until next Tuesday.

I know what you mean about the heart-elevating thing with thinking about going back to school. It's the Sunday night blues, but on steroids.
I'm glad you can dump it for a while, though. Bummer that it's over, but in looking back, you and your family had a pretty great summer!
