I've had a request for the rating system of the book club. Frankly, it's pretty technical, and I think it may also be classified, BUT, I'm kind of a rebel.
So, here it is:
5: MASTERPIECE
4: Talk of the Town
3: Tell a Friend
2: Needs a Boost
1: Crap
There are frequently halves added, and I believe someone once TRIED to classify something as a 2.75, but we all agreed that was equivocating just TOO much.
Faithful readers know that I am keen on equivocating. I'm not saying that I was the one who tried to weasel in with the .75, but I do admit to rating something 2.5- i.e. "Tell a Friend that it Needs a Boost."
The thing is, I almost ALWAYS "tell a friend" about what I'm reading. Even if it's crap. Maybe even ESPECIALLY if it's crap.
